00:00 Good morning everyone! We are in the middle of the week and the time is now Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
00:10 Based on our latest satellite images, you can see that the northeast monsoon or the cold wind
00:17 is affecting a large part of the province while the shoreline is still there.
00:23 The cold wind and the hot wind are coming from the easterlies or the Pacific Ocean.
00:31 What happens is that when we have cold and hot winds,
00:36 the hot wind tends to rise while the cold wind descends.
00:41 Because of that, there are storms and that's why we have particular rains here in the eastern part of the province.
00:50 The eastern Visayas and Bicol regions are still experiencing rain.
00:54 It's reaching the Khezon province.
00:57 We are still hoping that the cold wind will be weaker in the next few days.
01:02 That's why the rain that falls from the shoreline is possible to decrease.
01:08 In the other parts of the country, in Mimindanao and Luzon,
01:11 we are still hoping for isolated light rain in Luzon while there are thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
01:18 There are not many thunderstorms when it's sunny because the weather is cloudy.
01:26 So, for now, we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas.
01:30 It's possible that until the weekend, maybe until the long weekend,
01:34 on Monday, there will be no rain.
01:37 It's possible that there will be no typhoons but we will continue to monitor this.
01:42 Here in Luzon, we are still hoping for a big chance of rain, particularly here in the part of Mimaropa.
01:48 It's the same in the Bicol region. It's reaching the Khezon province.
01:52 It's still near the shoreline.
01:55 While there are weak rains, it's near Amihan in the area of Cagayan Valley region.
02:00 In the other parts of Luzon, we are still hoping for isolated light rains or weak rains.
02:07 It's also near Amihan.
02:09 The temperature in the area is 20 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:13 In Baguio, it's 14 to 24.
02:15 In Togegarau, it's 21 to 27 degrees Celsius.
02:18 In Manila, it's 22 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:21 In Tagaytay, it's 20 to 29 degrees Celsius.
02:23 In Legazpi, it's 24 to 28 degrees Celsius.
02:27 While in Puerto Princesa and Palawan, it's 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:31 In Calayan Islands, it's also 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:35 The chances of heavy rains in the eastern Visayas are still high.
02:40 It's near the shoreline.
02:41 While we are hoping for isolated rains in the eastern Visayas, especially in the summer provinces,
02:47 it's possible that the number of rains will decrease.
02:50 But be careful because it's been raining for a few days in this part of the country.
02:54 So, it's still possible for sudden floods, flash floods, landslides, or landslides.
03:00 The temperature in Iloilo is 26 to 20 degrees Celsius.
03:03 In Cebu, it's 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:06 While in Tacloban, it's 25 to 29 degrees Celsius.
03:10 The area of Zamboanga Peninsula, we're also hoping for cloudy skies with a high chance of rain
03:16 because the shoreline is hiding there.
03:18 While in the southern part of Mindanao, generally fair weather.
03:22 But again, it's still possible for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms
03:26 that can still cause moderate up to heavy rains.
03:30 But it won't last long.
03:32 The temperature in Zamboanga is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:36 In Aguindeoro, it's 25 to 29.
03:38 While in Davao, it's 33 degrees Celsius.
03:41 So, now, we still have high gale warnings, particularly in the Bait-Baitinong Batanes,
03:46 Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Northern Quezon,
03:50 along with Polilio Islands, Calaguas Islands, Rapu-Rapu, Albay.
03:54 They are also a part of Sorsogon and also in the northern and eastern coast of Catanduanes.
03:59 In these areas, we're still hoping for strong waves
04:05 so it's still dangerous to sail small boats and small boats.
04:10 So, avoid sailing in these areas of our country.
04:14 Here, we're still hoping for isolated light rains in Metro Manila
04:24 and possibly thunderstorms on Saturday.
04:27 In Baguio, we're still hoping for light rains on Friday and Saturday.
04:33 While in Legazpi, it's possible that the rain will be lessened.
04:36 The shear line's effect is a bit weak.
04:38 On Friday and Saturday, it's possible that we'll only experience thunderstorms.
04:43 The same is true in Cebu and Metro Davao.
04:46 Generally, it's fair weather but it's still possible to have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
04:51 The temperature in the next three days in Manila is from 22 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:57 In Baguio, it's 14 to 23 degrees Celsius.
05:00 In Legazpi, it's 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
05:04 In Metro Cebu, it's 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
05:07 While in Metro Davao, it's from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
05:12 We're expecting that the sun will rise later at 6 a.m.
05:16 and set around 5 to 24 p.m.
