00:00Clearly, my first year, we were 0-5 and struggling just to get to 5-7.
00:06Last year, at this time, we were 4-6, struggling to get to even at 7-7.
00:13So, as I told the guys in practice yesterday, we should be very happy that we put ourselves in this
00:19situation.
00:19Once again, we get to control our own destiny.
00:22And as men, as basketball players, and future fathers and leaders in this world, there's nothing better than controlling your
00:30own destiny.
00:31And then it's up to you.
00:33Well said, goes to Elias. You have 13 points.
00:386 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 iso.
00:43This is your best performance, iso, especially at the crucial time.
00:47So, what can you say about helping the team lead into the final for this victory?
00:52I'm just playing my role, honestly.
00:54Whatever coach tells me to do, that's my role, and I'm not executed today.
00:59So, I just got to be consistent every game.
01:02Just keep being reps and working hard against somebody on the court.
01:07But, yeah, it's just on me.
01:09It's my role to help the team and do whatever coach needs me to do to execute that.
01:15So, yeah.
01:17Jordan, you have 18 points, scoring, balls, and 1 assist.
01:21So, maganda yung binigay na numero ni Gish Pase.
01:25And, syempe, lalap nag-hackle kayo sa final for.
01:27Anong maasaya mo?
01:30Spectacular.
02:00Thank you so much, Mo.
02:0215 points, 19 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, and 1 assist.
02:08Is such a crucial win for you guys, ah, your thoughts?
02:12Ah, that was a good game.
02:14And then, ah, that was hard to play also when I was trying to say.
02:17And then, ah, we just, you know, ah, we did some kind of mistake the first half,
02:21but we touched it for the second half.
02:24And then, we just played the game.
02:25And we, ah, we did what Coach Sean told us to do, and then, yeah, we just played the game
02:31with you.
02:31Thank you so much.
02:32Well, to be honest, I got out of my character, um, at halftime.
02:37Because I felt like, it, you know, good job to you, Lee, that they continue to fight.
02:43They're showing up and giving everybody a tough game in the second round.
02:46But I also felt we should have been better in the first half.
02:49So, I, um, I kind of went different.
02:53I went meeting Coach Sean on the mid-half time, and I didn't really let him know that I thought
02:57we were playing some selfish basketball.
03:00And it doesn't mean, like, when you're taking shots.
03:03It means, like, not doing your role, not rebounding, not boxing out, missing the extra pass,
03:10um, not showing up on our, on our hard shoulder on a shooter.
03:13Like, that's sometimes yourself in basketball, and I give it 110%.
03:18So, um, I was really, um, I went pretty bad on my halftime.
03:23And, um, we responded, but I don't like to coach like that.
03:26You know, I want to use positive mindset all the time.
03:29I want to always encourage and love on them, and empower them, and hope the best for them.
03:35But, um, sometimes, you know, just like a dad, like a father, because I love them all like my own
03:39sins,
03:40you've got to go disciplined moments and times.
03:42So, sorry for that, but that's what happened at halftime.
03:45So, um, after yung halftime na na yun, siguro parang nalang mirali talaga yung D2,
03:51respond the way you guys did, um, sa naging tshap yung ibup na yung halftime.
03:55Um, sabi ko lang sa kanila na maglaro lang kami in the right way,
03:59um, kasi alam namin, um, pag naglaro lang kami in the right way,
04:03right way na walang pressure, um, ma-reward hinkum, which is, um, yun yung nangyayari ng yung second half.
04:10Pero, um, din ako, uh, gawin talaga.
04:13Um, like, as a rookie, I guess, how have you find your put-in, uh, with this team so far,
04:20you know, after, like, around 10 games so far in the UAH?
04:24Well, for me, obviously, it's just been all about adapting to everything here,
04:28especially, like, the system and just, like, the league in general.
04:31It's something I'm, like, used to at all compared to back in the States.
04:34So, um, I'm just trying to, like, adapt to it still, try and get comfortable in the flow of everything,
04:39like, the system, um, how the league is, how the refs, you know, ref.
04:43But, um, it's just on me to just keep focusing, being locked in,
04:47and, um, just keep me at refs, like I said, just try and be consistent in every game I play.
04:52Sure.
