00:05 of having a security plan amidst the shocking shooting incident inside a passenger bus in

00:11 OTS admits, though, that the policy on having a security plan as part of the requirements
00:17 for franchise renewal is rather new.
00:19 But it has already notified bus companies about this several times before the shocking
00:24 shooting incident happened.
00:26 Many bus operators have already signified willingness to take part in a workshop organized
00:31 by the OTS regarding the matter on November 23 to learn more about the said guideline.
00:37 "The example here is the installation of CCTV cameras for inspection before the bus
00:47 arrives. For example, like in the airport, we have metal detectors, X-ray cameras and
00:59 other things. In the terminal, there are bus operators and bus terminals that are carrying
01:07 out such work. We are slowly moving around and many have already been affected."
