Three stories in brief and police are appealing for information.

After the Dogs Trust Leeds Rehoming Centre was targeted by thieves on the night of the

10th of November, two cars, a van and vital equipment was stolen with no dogs disturbed

during the incident.

Anyone with information can call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.

Meanwhile, the Cats Protection charity shop in Morley has been vandalised by burglars

who ransacked the store, leaving stock unsellable.

They have issued a plea for stock and volunteers at their Queen Street premises, while police

continue to investigate the raid.

And finally, a crane on the Riverside Way building site in Leeds City Centre, which

caused major road and rail disruption on Tuesday, has been made safe.

A significant part of Whitehall Road was closed and residents and workers were told to evacuate.
