00:07 December 2023 issue, and during her interview,
00:10 she admitted that things became quote,
00:12 "Testy" with her husband, Kenneth Petty,
00:14 after the birth of her son in 2020.
00:17 Nicki said quote, "I'm not gonna lie,
00:18 "things got testy between us.
00:20 "Because of our history, I think we knew we'd get past it,
00:23 "but there's no such thing as confidence in parenthood."
00:26 The "Barbie World" rapper and her husband
00:28 attended high school together in New York.
00:29 After losing touch, the two reconnected in late 2018,
00:32 and got married a year later in October of 2019.
00:36 Their son, who they publicly referred to as Papa Bear,
00:38 is now three years old, and when it comes to parenting,
00:40 she said quote, "I kind of wish that someone had told me,
00:43 "although I'm not sure I wouldn't have been able
00:44 "to understand it, that there's a level of anxiety,
