Today's recipe is a very tasty chutney recipe which is tomato chutney, specially for this

dish called Punugulu.

Punugulu is an Andhra Pradesh dish and it's like a vada pav, you get it on the streets

and it tastes amazing, especially when it's served with tomato chutney and coconut chutney.

Coconut chutney is served with it but the tangy flavour of tomato chutney, when you

dip Punugulu in tomato chutney and eat it, you definitely feel like you're drooling.

Now let's make today's recipe.

For tomato chutney, we have taken 6 tomatoes which we have cut into small pieces.

8 to 10 garlic cloves, salt as per taste, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, lemon sized tamarind

or tamarind, 1/4 cup coriander, 5 to 6 green chillies which we have cut into small pieces.

For chutney, we will make tadka.

For that, we have taken 8 to 10 curry leaves, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon urad

dal, 3 to 4 dry red chillies.

So let's make tomato chutney.

We have turned on the gas.

In a pan, we will add 1 tablespoon oil.

The oil is hot.

Now we will add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, green chillies, tomatoes.

We have fried the tomatoes for 5 minutes in medium flame.

Now we will add garlic.

After frying for 2 minutes, we will add tamarind, salt.

Turn off the gas and let it cool.

Our tomato mixture has cooled down completely.

We will put it in a mixer jar and grind it to a fine paste.

Before grinding, we will add this coriander.
