00:00 I'm Nader Reyes from HP Tuners and I'm the brand manager and this is Hot Rod Power Tour
00:18 2019.
00:23 HP Tuners has been attending Hot Rod Power Tour now for a few years.
00:31 As a company we enjoy being here.
00:32 Me personally, I'm excited to be here as well.
00:34 I would attend this event even if I wasn't working here.
00:39 We do realize this is a grueling trip and a lot of miles are put on these cars and problems
00:42 do arise.
00:43 We are here to assist, fix these problems for you so you can finish this tour with us
00:47 as well.
00:51 Last year we introduced MPVI 2 which gives you the capability to diagnose and tune.
00:55 This year we introduced the Pro Feature Set which has wideband capability.
01:02 This year we brought our C7 Z06 driven by Alex Pite who competes in this Ultimate Street
01:06 Car Challenge.
01:10 We brought with us a Jeep Wrangler with a Hellcat engine swapped into it to make it
01:13 707 horsepower.
01:18 They were able to run this at ZMAX I think and they got a 13.2 quarter mile.
01:30 New to the HP Tuners family is Lunch Money driven by Corey which is a 1927 Dodge with
01:34 an LS1 swapped into it.
01:41 My name is Corey Coette.
01:42 We're here at Hot Rod Power Tour 2019.
01:44 I'm here with HP Tuners.
01:46 I drove my 1927 Dodge Brothers this year.
01:50 We've made the trip, 7 stops, 1300 miles, pretty much encountered every kind of weather,
01:56 hot, cold, rain, dry and it was fun.
02:00 It was a good adventure.
02:02 In my 1927 Dodge I put an LS1 in it.
02:06 We tuned it using HP Tuners.
02:08 It's got AFR cylinder heads.
02:10 It's got CP Carrillo pistons and rods.
02:13 It's got pretty much everything except for crank and lifters.
02:18 Backed by a Powerglide transmission.
02:21 Corey's story what really attracted us to him is his passion.
02:25 He obviously loves cars and he wasn't going to let any of his disabilities stop him from
02:30 doing what he wants to do.
02:32 The fact that he went through so much trouble to actually get this built the way he did
02:37 is really testament to his passion.
02:48 I think the last route where we came up through the mountains in Kentucky, that was about
02:53 the best route I've been on.
02:55 There's a lot of tuner shops that use HP Tuners that come and see us on the tour at different
03:01 stops.
03:02 Whatever shop happens to be local to that stop, they'll come to our booth and they'll
03:06 either upgrade their device or pick up a shirt, tell us they like our software, let us know
03:12 any issues they might be having.
03:13 It really keeps that relationship solid.
03:15 There's a lot of talking to consumers who also use the product either themselves or
03:21 they'll be using our product in conjunction with a pro who's tuning their car for them.
03:30 This is my third Power Tour and it's great to see the same faces and meet new faces as
03:35 well.
03:36 This is actually my first Hot Rod Power Tour so I'm definitely enjoying it.
03:40 I mean it's great to see all the people around.
03:43 HP Tuners and Hot Rod Magazine have had a long partnership.
03:49 Hot Rod Magazine is all about projects.
03:51 A lot of these projects need to be tuned and this is where HP Tuners comes in.
