00:04 Hi, my name is Jim Calhoun. I'm a firefighter from Dubuque, Iowa.
00:09 We're on the 2005 Hot Rod Power Tour.
00:12 I brought my '56 Chevrolet. I've owned this since 1973.
00:17 I actually sold it once and bought it back, but I got her back now
00:20 and pretty excited about going on the Hot Rod Tour.
00:22 The motor's a 350 aftermarket, 4-bolt main with the high-rise and carburetor on it.
00:28 I've done the '14s on the drag strip. We've got the dyno right behind us,
00:32 and we're going to see what it does on the dyno, see what kind of horsepower it's got.
00:36 I'm guessing, through all my buddies, we figure we're putting out about 300 horse in the motor,
00:42 so we're going to find out here in a few minutes.

01:34 Hi, we just dynoed the car, and they told me it's about a 24% loss in power
01:40 from the motor to the back wheels, so I pulled up about 202 horse at the back wheels
01:46 with 236.5 foot-pounds of torque, which is right about in the range where I thought it was.
01:52 otherwise.
