02:32 Randy, this is Jaguar's new high output version of the XF sedan, the XFR.
02:37 Your thoughts?
02:38 >> Surprisingly powerful.
02:40 I didn't expect that.
02:42 I think I'd forgotten it was 500 horse.
02:44 It reminded me as soon as I pulled out.
02:46 [LAUGH]
02:47 So I really enjoyed the engine.
02:49 Very powerful at all rev ranges.
02:51 A lot of fun there.
02:53 I like the seats immediately felt good and they were supportive on the track as well.
02:57 The handling to me was inconsistent.
03:00 It depended on how I drove the car.
03:03 What I'm saying is that if I entered a corner doing one thing,
03:08 the car would behave one way and then if I did it a little differently, it was different.
03:12 I found it difficult to be consistent in terms of the car's behavior and handling.
03:18 Part of that came from was that the turn in was pretty good but then the middle of the corner wanted to understeer a lot.
03:25 Unless you were on the power.
03:27 And that could pretty quickly transition back to oversteer again.
03:31 So the handling was changeable.
03:33 And I didn't always know what was going to happen when I turned the wheel entering the corner.
03:38 In terms of power oversteer, that part was fun.
03:41 It actually was kind of a fingertip car.
03:43 It could be balanced in power oversteer which of course is a pretty radical way to drive a car.
03:48 But it's also the most fun way to drive a car on earth.
03:51 And it could be balanced pretty easily with just fingertips which is kind of a good feeling as opposed to white knuckle which some of these cars were.
03:58 Once I was back to power, I felt pretty good about what the car was going to do.
04:02 But before that is where I felt the inconsistencies.
04:06 I don't think it's quite ready for prime time yet.
04:08 I think it could be more on rails.
04:11 In other words, a car that's on rails is consistent.
04:14 You enter a corner, you don't have to think about it a lot.
04:16 You just crank the wheel and away you go.
04:19 With the Jaguar, you've got to think about it.
04:22 You've got to be a little careful because you get a little bit something different each time.
