00:05 the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys

00:07 and the Philadelphia Eagles.

00:08 Dallas Goddard tackled along the left sideline there,

00:11 goes down, feared to have broken his forearm,

00:14 but now also scheduled to have surgery.

00:16 Talk to us about the injury, what happened,

00:17 and also the need for surgery

00:19 and what that's gonna help out with Dallas Goddard.

00:22 - Yeah, that was the worry as he fell.

00:24 It was going to be a proximal forearm/elbow radius fracture,

00:29 radial neck, a shaft fracture.

00:32 Even with surgery, the good news is

00:35 it is not the end of his season.

00:37 There's a bye week, he's likely to hit injury reserve.

00:40 So Dallas Goddard has a good chance to come back

00:43 towards the end of this regular season

00:45 and certainly playoffs.

00:46 And you know, the Eagles are the best record in the league

00:49 and this bye couldn't come at a better time for them,

00:52 not only to help Dallas Goddard out,

00:54 but Jalen Hurts re-injured that same knee.

00:57 That lead leg brace probably saved him

00:59 from a more significant reoccurring bone bruise/MCL sprain.

01:04 A lot of quarterbacks wear that prophylactically,

01:07 Tom Brady did for most of his career.

01:09 In this case, it sort of saves Jalen Hurts.

01:12 The bye couldn't come at a better time,

01:13 but I do expect Hurts to return after the bye in week 11.
