00:44 Everything good comes to an end.
00:46 And Santiago 2033 is wrapping up today.
00:49 There's a handful of events happening right now.
00:51 Mainly BMX right behind me.
00:54 Golf is also happening.
00:56 Also speed skating was going on this morning.
00:58 But most of these events are already done
01:01 or in the final stages.
01:03 In the next couple of minutes, the next couple of hours,
01:05 everything's going to be done and everything's going
01:07 to be ready for what's going to happen tonight.
01:09 The big closing ceremony that's going
01:11 to be happening later on tonight.
01:13 Yesterday was an action-packed day.
01:16 We had our teams all around Santiago covering the different
01:20 sports, and we prepared the following story for you guys.

01:25 Santiago 2023 is wrapping up,
01:27 and lots of sports disciplines are coming to an end.
01:30 During Friday night, Mexico was able
01:37 to obtain the gold medal defeating Chile
01:38 in female football, while Argentina defeated Chile
01:45 on male's field hockey.
01:46 Saturday morning was filled with action in wrestling,
01:51 with a good performance by the Cuban delegation.
01:54 During the afternoon, Cuba delivered,
01:56 winning four gold medals.
01:57 In athletics, Cuba obtained the gold medal
02:02 in the 800-meter race on the women's side,
02:04 while Venezuela did it on the men's side.
02:06 On Sunday, there will be finals in BMX freestyle,
02:13 speed skating, and table tennis.

02:24 >> As we said, right now there's a few events going on.
02:28 One of those is BMX freestyle category.
02:31 It's happening right behind me.
02:32 Right now the women's just finished,
02:34 where United States got the gold.
02:36 The Chilean Maca Perez got the silver medal,
02:39 and Catherine Diaz from Venezuela got the bronze medal.
02:43 That was -- that happened just a minute ago,
02:45 and now the men's are carrying on, on the final,
02:48 on the freestyle BMX.
02:50 We know it's a new sport.
02:52 It was first introduced in Lima, 2019.
02:55 It was later part of the Olympic Games in Tokyo,
02:58 and it's the second time here in Santiago 2023, and it's going
03:01 to be on the 2024 Olympics in Paris as well.
03:04 So it's a new sport, a lot of young players,
03:06 and a lot of crowd.
03:07 As I told you, it's a very, very hot day,
03:10 a warm day here in Chile, but still, a lot of crowd showed
03:13 up here to the National Stadium to see what happened,
03:16 one of the last events that are going to be happening today.
03:19 Let's talk about a little bit of what happened yesterday
03:22 with Argentina.
03:22 We talked about Argentina earlier on during the week.
03:25 They were not doing very well.
03:27 They had difficult here in Santiago 23-3,
03:30 but yesterday was a golden day for Argentina.
03:32 They won nine different goals.
03:34 We want to highlight they defeated the United States
03:37 in hockey.
03:38 They defeated Brazil in handball.
03:40 They did the same with Venezuelan basketball,
03:42 Chile in rugby.
03:44 So Argentina stepping it up at the end
03:46 of this Pan American Games, and they moved up a lot further
03:50 on the table.
03:51 They passed Chile, and they're in the top 10 right now.
03:53 So very good day for Argentina.
03:55 It was also a very good day for Colombia on speed skating today,
03:58 and we're going to have all the details
