00:00 So behind me, every single year, we're always really proud to have the community pumpkin
00:06 patch, which is exactly what this is.
00:08 You're seeing it during the day, it takes a whole different form at night when it's
00:12 all lit up.
00:13 And what this is, is hundreds of school children all across Glasgow create these pumpkins for
00:18 us as well as our very own professional pumpkin carvers.
00:22 And we just love this, it's my favourite bit of Glasgow every year.
00:25 It's so pretty, it's so cute and there's also lots of little fun nuggets thrown in there
00:29 for adults, such as a baby pumpkin being eaten by an evil pumpkin in the corner there that
00:33 you can see.
00:34 And every year we want to build on it, we want to make it bigger, we want to make it
00:37 better.
00:38 So every year we invest in certain areas that always come back, so marshmallow land, which
00:43 is my personal favourite.
00:45 Every child should have the ability to tote a marshmallow at least once a year and that's
00:48 what we get to do here.
00:49 And then what we want to try and do is always create a theme every year that connects with
00:53 people.
00:54 Like I said, it's all about lighting people's lives up.
00:57 It's a time of year when the clocks change, Halloween starts, the leaves are changing,
01:02 the area looks really beautiful and behind me you can see an Ecto-1.
01:05 The theme this year is all about ghosts, ghouls, the nostalgia of the 80s, taking inspiration
01:11 from amazing movies like Ghostbusters and the opportunity for people to see the sky
01:15 lit up.
01:16 You can grab a beer or a Baileys and hot chocolate and sit and watch one of the main finale shows,
01:22 which is an unbelievable showpiece that you get to walk through.
01:26 And this year what's really exciting, if people have been before to Glasgow, is we're going
01:30 back inside the kibble and the show that's in the kibble, which we pulled together last
01:36 night and I've watched for the very first time, is unbelievable.
01:39 So I hope everyone gets the opportunity to see it.
