01:08 In a joint statement, Biden and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also reiterate
01:13 the U.S.'s and Australia's support for rule of law and their opposition to China's, quote,
01:18 "destabilizing actions" in the South China Sea.
01:21 On October 22, Chinese ships harassed and collided with Philippine boats on a resupply
01:25 mission to a ship outpost on Ayungin Shoal.
01:28 In response, the Chinese Foreign Ministry says the U.S. does not have the right to get
01:32 involved in problems between China and the Philippines.
01:37 The Quezon City Police District filed a complaint against a man accused of uploading the viral
01:42 video of cops stopping traffic along Commonwealth Avenue, allegedly for Vice President Sara
01:47 Duterte.
01:48 The police say Yanis Monar violated Article 154 of the revised penal code.
01:53 Article 154 of the RPC covers, quote, "unlawful use of means of publication and unlawful utterances."
02:00 In a letter sent to the QCPD, his lawyer, Chal Jokno of the Free Legal Assistance Group,
02:05 emphasizes Monar just shared the video, contrary to the police's claim that he uploaded it.
02:10 The vice president has denied any involvement in the traffic disruption, claiming she was

02:16 The QCPD also apologized for the inconvenience of the traffic closure.
02:22 A report says verified accounts on X are super-spreaders of disinformation about the Israel-Hamas

02:29 NewsGuard, a website providing tools and analysis to counter disinformation, finds 74 percent
02:34 of the most engaged posts promoting false narratives about the war were posted by verified
02:38 X accounts.
02:39 Since Elon Musk's takeover of the platform, users on X can pay to be verified, though
02:44 without any formal vetting to ensure legitimacy.
02:47 X counts on its Community Notes system, which allows users to add context to potentially
02:51 misleading posts to get the job done.
02:54 But NewsGuard finds only 32 percent of the disinformation posts were flagged with a community
02:59 note.
03:02 The Department of Foreign Affairs says at least three Filipinos remain in Gaza City,
03:06 even as Israeli attacks on the Palestinian enclave intensify.
03:10 CFA Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega says the three were identified as a Filipino-Palestinian
03:15 man and his child, while the other is a Filipino nun who stayed in Gaza City despite a warning
03:20 from Israel.
03:21 The three were among the 136 Filipinos still trapped in Gaza, even as Israel bombarded
03:27 the thin strip of land with a ground assault looming.
03:30 The rest of the 133 Filipinos in Gaza are already in the southernmost areas, seeking
03:35 shelter in different buildings there.
03:37 Local groups have called on the establishment of a humanitarian corridor that would allow
03:41 the entry of aid and the exit of refugees.
03:44 The Philippine Embassy in Cairo will bring home some 150 individuals should refugees

05:06 since Vice had originally booked a business class seat, the airline claimed he was among
05:11 the passengers offered a downgrade to economy class.
05:15 But Vice refuted these claims, saying he was told the flight was overbooked and that a
05:19 seat was given to another passenger.
