00:00 Israeli occupation forces continue threatening hospitals in Gaza.
00:03 A Gaza correspondent, Amrab Dahul, is at the Al-Quds hospital with the latest details.
00:13 West of Gaza City.
00:15 This is the Al-Quds Jerusalem hospital that Israel threatened more than once and demanded
00:19 its evacuation in preparation for its bombing as part of its policy aimed at bombing more
00:24 hospitals in Gaza.
00:26 The scene here speaks for itself.
00:28 Hundreds of displaced Palestinians left their homes in the face of the intensity of the
00:32 Israeli bombardment.
00:35 Some of them lost their homes as a result of the destruction by the Israeli war machine.
00:39 Inside, the scene may seem more difficult.
00:43 Seven floors make up this hospital, all of them full of displaced people.
00:47 Israel has more than once asked the hospital administration to evacuate it, but the administration
00:53 here insists on staying and confirms that it will continue to provide services to many
00:57 patients, including hundreds of wounded and sick.
01:01 I will speak with Dr. Bashar Murad, director of Al-Quds hospital.
01:06 Doctor, may God grant you good health and thank God for your integrity.
01:11 Tell us, doctor, what is happening?
01:16 Of course, in the name of God, since the beginning of the war, of course, this place has not
01:21 been intended as a place of refuge.
01:23 But since the beginning of the war, a large number of citizens have taken shelter in Al-Quds
01:27 hospital, where now the number exceeds 12,000 citizens, in addition to the wars.
01:33 There are wounded in the department, in addition to the intensive care department.
01:37 More than 10 patients are connected to ventilators.
01:40 Now, as you can see, this place has not been rated as a shelter either.
01:44 We provide everything.
01:46 We dedicate this whole place to citizens.
01:48 There are three buildings that belong to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
01:53 The buildings are the first building of the specialized Moroccan hospital with seven floors.
01:58 This building has 10 floors, and the old Al-Quds building has seven floors.
02:03 All these buildings are full of people, as you see.
02:05 I mean, that's the scenario.
02:07 What are your options, doctor?
02:09 Of course, we have choices before us as health care providers.
02:14 As you know, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society is a national society affiliated with
02:18 the International Federation of Red Crescent.
02:22 We have the protection emblem, the Red Crescent emblem.
02:25 And according to the Geneva Convention, we should not be attacked, and our staff in the
02:29 field and medical institutions should not be attacked.
02:32 We continue to work to provide services.
02:34 Of course, as you know, the refugees here, and we provide services to the wounded.
02:39 And so far, we have more than 1,000 wounded that we have treated inside this hospital.
02:44 Thank you, doctor.
02:47 May God grant you good health, and may you remain safe and sound.
02:51 Dr. Bashir Murad, director of Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza.
02:54 As it is, Israel continues to violate all international laws and norms, bombing hospitals,
03:00 and continues to boast that they are protected by U.S. and European support.
