00:07 The people's voters have a presidential candidate and a presidential representative
00:11 who will hold a contest for 2024 election.
00:15 The three candidates, Capres and Cewepes,
00:17 are asked to maintain the momentum of development and economic growth in Indonesia.
00:22 [music]
00:26 The 2024 presidential election political contest
00:31 is already complete, consisting of the Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD couple,
00:36 Anis Baswedan with Muhyimin Iskandar or Caimin,
00:40 as well as the Prabowo-Subianto and Gibran-Rakabuming-Raka couple,
00:44 who last registered in the KPU General Election Commission.
00:47 The people and businessmen in this country are also waiting for the ideas,
00:53 policies and vision of the three presidential candidates
00:57 and representatives of the President of the Republic of Indonesia
00:59 for the five-year democracy contest that will be held in 2024.
01:04 Especially the strategy of implementing economic policies
01:09 for the continuation of the development and economic growth of Indonesia in the future.
01:13 Meanwhile, although the three candidates for the 2024 election
01:19 are considered to have experience in the field of economics,
01:22 they are not qualified to address the problems of the economy that occur
01:27 from global uncertainty,
01:30 currency inflation, to food.
01:32 For that, Director Celius Bima Yudhistira hopes
01:35 the presidential candidates and the press
01:38 can not only convey their vision and mission in solving the problems of the economy,
01:42 but also can prove in the first 100 days of the contest.
01:46 Various external challenges must be able to be answered.
01:51 The more specific the program,
01:53 the more people will believe.
01:56 Especially if there is something that can promise the first 100 days,
02:00 there will be food stability,
02:03 food imports can be reduced,
02:06 but also how to increase exports on one side.
02:11 This requires a comprehensive condition
02:13 that can share the task with the President's representative.
02:17 Then also have international exposure
02:21 because it involves lobby and international negotiations,
02:26 food producers for example.
02:28 But also how to convince investors that Indonesia is a place that remains attractive
02:33 in the midst of global uncertainty,
02:35 so that the realization of investment and income investment can be more qualitative.
02:40 Bima added that the experience of the candidates is quite unique,
02:46 starting from regional economists
02:48 to the budget of the National Defense System.
02:51 Thus, the candidates must be able to convince
02:54 that the programs offered can be realized.

03:19 Good morning, Mr. Pras.
03:21 Greetings, ma'am.
03:23 Greetings, and happiness.
03:25 Always happy, especially since there are already three contests
03:27 to be the contenders for the 2024 NIR Review.
03:31 First, related to the situation and conditions of the business world in Indonesia today.
03:36 The business world today is extraordinary,
03:40 facing political contestation that is now visible.
03:45 The direction of these three candidates has come out,
03:47 so the economic predictions that will happen in the future
03:53 seem to be a lot of surprises.
03:55 But so far, everything is still under control,
03:59 and we know that the government targets at 5.3%.
04:04 We will achieve, but there is an increase in the US dollar for currency.
04:12 In your opinion, will this political year have a positive impact on our business world?
04:18 Whether we want it or not, we have to face this,
04:23 and in accordance with what is called "demokratos",
04:26 that is, sovereignty in the hands of the people,
04:28 this is the feast in the hands of the people.
04:31 That the future of this nation is in the hands of the people,
04:34 therefore, we should not choose the leader wrongly,
04:39 which must really know and understand the conditions in the country
04:45 and face the global conditions.
04:48 Okay, so what sector is it that may be directly affected
04:52 by the rise of the election activity in 2023?
04:56 If we look at it, there must be an increase,
05:01 if it is said to face the election, there must be an increase
05:05 in the sector, of course, in the textile, food,
05:10 it must also need printing,
05:14 but in the future, we must still increase innovation, technology,
05:19 stimulate the purchasing power of the people,
05:22 and also the production and distribution sector.
05:26 And we also know that the press and voters have also set the press's answer,
05:30 we are Anies with Muhammad Iskander or Cak Imin,
05:33 Ganjil Pranowo with Mahfud Emre, then Prabowo Subianto Gibran.
05:37 What is the response of Kadin himself
05:39 with the three pairs of presidential candidates and vice presidents?
05:44 The response is very exciting,
05:47 because with the three presidential candidates,
05:51 we can see the combination of leaders in the future,
05:56 where indeed of these three, of course,
05:59 whoever will be the leader of the future,
06:02 must still focus on what has been done by the government now
06:09 to be continued in the future,
06:10 because such an extraordinary global challenge,
06:14 if we don't follow what was previously continued,
06:20 it will be very difficult.
06:22 The stability of the economy must be maintained by the new leaders,
06:28 because if from Kadin, of course, he still has to be a government partner,
06:34 of course, Kadin always supports the programs proposed by the government.
06:39 Especially now, we are facing an extraordinary challenge,
06:43 because we still have to create a job market
06:46 to maintain a stable economic growth, Mr. Pres.
06:51 Well, hello, what kind of economic program is expected
06:55 from businessmen from each chapter and chapter?
06:59 Yes, so if we look at what has been done by our government in the future,
07:06 one, about national strategic projects,
07:09 about infrastructure that has an impact on economic growth,
07:12 it must still be continued.
07:14 Second, related to the government's RPJMN plan of Rp6,445 trillion,
07:21 which the government only has the ability of 37%,
07:25 so 63% still needs the private sector to continue.
07:30 And what else, now the IKN, this IKN is really extraordinary,
07:36 because maybe it looks like this,
07:38 why does this IKN seem to be for political interest or really needed?
07:44 Actually, in my opinion, it is really needed.
07:46 Indeed, at the moment, as you said, in Jakarta,
07:50 in Java Island, it cannot accommodate,
07:52 and we need a backup,
07:54 which is in Kalimantan, for balance,
07:56 geopolitical stability needs to be maintained.
07:59 So with the IKN, it becomes an economic multiplier,
08:04 there is an economic cycle,
08:06 how to bring foreign investment into Indonesia.
08:09 So I hope, at the moment, all friends in this country
08:15 realize that the potential created by the government is ours.
08:20 So we have to be the ones who play in this country.
08:23 Yes, with that, it means that the policies,
08:26 the rules that exist,
08:27 which are the foundation of national economy,
08:29 at the moment, it means that it must be maintained later
08:31 by the three couples, Capres and Caupres.
08:34 Hold on to the answer,
08:35 because we will be a brief break.
08:37 We will be right back after the next party.
