00:06 I would love to fade the Saints this week, Jacob, because again, I like to bet against

00:11 the highs and bet on the lows, and that's the best the Saints are gonna play all season

00:14 long.

00:15 You can mark that down against New England.

00:18 But Houston has sort of been playing a little, you know, they're playing well with a little

00:21 bit of house money.

00:22 I mean, C.J.

00:23 Stroud has been incredible.

00:26 I mean, I don't think a rookie quarterback's gonna go an entire season without throwing

00:29 a pick or two.

00:30 That's kind of where we're at.

00:32 I think this is gonna end up being more or less a pick 'em game by the time this goes

00:35 off.

00:36 Some backing on Houston.

00:37 Saints were a little bit of a bigger favorite.

00:38 It's now down to one and a half.

00:40 Total of 42 and a half.

00:41 What do you like in this one?

00:43 Yeah, I like the Texans for some of the reasons that you've outlined.

00:46 I think the Saints are a little overrated right now.

00:49 They have a good defense.

00:50 There's no doubt about that.

00:51 And their offense can be effective because Chris Alave and Michael Thomas give Derek

00:56 Carr a couple of weapons that he can get the ball to.

00:59 The problem is Derek Carr at various points will throw untimely interceptions.

01:04 And that doesn't come back to bite the Saints just yet.

01:07 But I think this is probably gonna end up being a close game.

01:10 And C.J.

01:11 Stroud, like you mentioned, has been great so far.

01:13 I thought he was probably the safest pick among the quarterbacks in the last year's

01:17 draft class.

01:18 But I didn't think he'd come out of the gate like this.

01:20 I thought he'd need some time to develop.

01:22 So this is gonna be a good test for him.

01:24 But I think if he can move the ball on the Saints' defense, I think the Texans can win.

01:29 They almost beat the Falcons last week in kind of a very close back-and-forth game.

01:33 I think the Falcons are just about as good as the Saints.

01:36 They just don't have nearly as good of a quarterback.

01:38 As strange as that is to say, I think Desmond Ritter is well below Derek Carr at this point.

01:43 So I think the Texans can give the Saints a run for their money and maybe pull the upset.
