00:06 it sounds like Britney Spears will only record
00:08 part of the audio book for her new memoir.
00:10 So as you all know, Britney Spears' highly anticipated
00:13 memoir, "The Woman and Me" is set to hit shelves
00:15 later this month.
00:16 And while many fans were looking forward to hearing
00:18 Britney herself narrate her own story on the audio book,
00:21 now sources are telling TMZ that Britney Spears
00:23 only recorded part of the audio book.
00:25 This source says that Britney Spears will not be narrating
00:28 the chapters about her family.
00:30 She reportedly found those chapters to quote,
00:32 "painful to retell in her own words."
00:34 So according to these TMZ sources,
00:36 Britney's publisher brought in a surprise celebrity guest
00:38 to read the chapters that Britney did not.
00:40 And while we don't know who that celebrity guest is,
00:43 we at least know somebody it's not.
00:45 Apparently Britney's publisher really wanted
00:46 Reese Witherspoon to fill the role,
00:48 but unfortunately she wasn't able to do it.
00:50 I'm personally a little disappointed to hear
00:51 that Britney Spears won't be narrating
00:53 her entire audio book herself,
