Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad have charged two men in relation to an incident that occurred in Baldivis on Thursday 5 October 2023

00:00 It will be alleged the man who was a passenger in one of the vehicles

00:03 exited the vehicle on Amazon Drive and discharged a firearm.

00:07 The 23-year-old man from Beldavis

00:10 has been charged with one count of attempting to strike a person with any

00:14 projectile,

00:15 possession of a firearm in circumstances of aggravation

00:18 and possession of ammunition. He appeared in court today and has been further

00:22 remanded in custody.

00:23 The 23-year-old man is a member of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

00:27 The investigation remains ongoing and we are continuing to call for

00:32 witnesses in relation to the incident. We are particularly asking anyone who is

00:36 reluctant to come forward to do so

00:38 and you can remain confidential when you do that.

00:41 It is a greater risk to the community and actually saying nothing.

00:44 Detectives will continue to execute search warrants and spin to doors until

00:48 we have identified and charged all the people involved in the incident.
