New Eddie Gray mural unveiled in Leeds

Leeds United Supporters’ Trust proudly unveiled their 14th Leeds United commissioned mural, led by artist Adam Duffield and creative designer Rhys Lowry.

00:00 Thanks to everybody that's came, you know, especially people that have travelled a long way.

00:04 I never thought I'd be immortalised here on New Rhyland Road in the wall.

00:09 Nice flowers in the garden, I like that. That's nice.

00:13 So it's a great tribute to being in my family for something like this to happen.

00:19 I came to the club 60 years ago. I never thought I'd be looking at myself across the roads of New Rhyland Road.

00:25 It's a privilege to be here and thanks for everybody turning up. It's a miserable day, I know that.

00:31 But it's something that my family, my kids and the grandkids can always look at

00:37 and know that I did play here one day. I keep on telling them I played, they don't believe me.

00:43 So it's great. Thanks very much to everybody for coming.
