00:00 We urge the residents to put down their arms and to embrace each other as

00:06 brothers and sisters who have lived alongside each other for years. We are

00:12 also appealing to the residents to resist and reject those inciting them to

00:17 acts of violence and lawlessness that brings no value to the actors and the

00:23 victims. We are calling on the government to immediately bring the violence to an

00:28 end and to provide round-the-clock security to the residents of this area.

00:34 The people behind this violence and mayhem must be identified, arrested and

00:40 made to account for their actions. We are concerned over the negative impact of

00:45 this violence on livelihoods and economic activities in the area.

00:50 Consequently, we are asking the government to provide support to the families that

00:55 have been affected by this violence. Such support should include footing the

01:01 medical bills for those who have sought treatment and helping with burials of

01:05 those who have lost their dear ones.
