What do you think of Sheffield?

We asked first year students what do you think of Sheffield.

00:00 think of Sheffield so far? I've loved Sheffield so far, I mean except for the hills, they're a bit too much.

00:05 But yeah everything's in walking distance, nights out are cheap, fun, everyone seems to be having a good time.

00:12 I think it's cute, I think it's quite a nice city to live in, like I'm kind of from around Londonish as well so it's very different.

00:28 not everyone's that nice, but Sheffield, everyone's friendly, you can ask for help, everything's cheap as well, it's a good move.

00:35 I absolutely love it, very big city, everything you need is within reach, you don't have to go out for anything,

00:42 public transport's very good, so buses, trams, just jump on one and you can go anywhere.

00:48 I think Sheffield is one of the most welcoming cities, the people are the friendliest people I've ever met.

00:56 As a shy first year student I was terrified and as soon as you come to this city you're welcomed by the nicest people on the planet.

01:15 And is it much bigger in Milton Keynes? It's much bigger because most of the time there's a bunch of roads and you just need a car and stuff.
