00:00 I mean, we're so lucky because we've got our older cast
00:04 as well as the younger cast.
00:05 So we've all got an older version of us
00:08 and we are really close to our characters actually.
00:11 So being able to confide in those women has been amazing
00:15 because they're basically just us,
00:17 but like 20, 10 years older.
00:20 Not 20, not 20, 10 years older.
00:25 - We are outside the Bristol Hippodrome
00:27 to relight your fire for the greatest days tour
00:29 that's visiting the Bristol Hippodrome
00:31 as part of their touring circuit.
00:34 The smash hit musical follows best friends in the nineties
00:37 who reunite for the greatest days of their lives
00:40 as they win tickets to meet boy band Take That.
00:43 The show features some of the band's most iconic songs
00:46 and heartwarming performances
00:48 from Jennifer Ellison and Olivia Hallett.
00:51 Today, we will chat to Olivia Hallett to find out more.
00:54 Come on.
00:55 - We are at the Bristol Hippodrome.
00:56 We are on the stage of the greatest days UK tour.
01:00 Oh, it's so good.
01:01 It's amazing.
01:02 We get to be in a new place every week.
01:04 We're with like our cast,
01:07 which has just become our little family.
01:10 Yeah, so you can definitely expect
01:12 all of your favourite songs, they're in there.
01:14 But also the heartwarming story of the girls.
01:18 And I think as well,
01:19 it's just really nostalgic for so many people.
01:22 I think that's the first thing that people say to us
01:24 when we come out at stage door and things.
01:26 - The show is on until Saturday, the 16th of September
01:31 and is written by an award-winning writer, Tim Firth
01:34 and really will make your heart shine.
01:38 - So when you hear about it,
01:39 you think when you think it's Take That
01:42 and you think it's the story of Take That.
01:43 So I always love telling people the plot
01:46 because it's about the fans and it's about friendship.
01:51 These five girls, they grow up
01:54 and we learn everything that they didn't do
01:57 or they did do and how their lives differ
02:01 from what they thought it was going to be.
02:04 It's everything that you would have done when you grew up.
02:07 It's the dancing with your friends in the playground.
02:10 It's the talking about the pop videos.
02:13 Yeah, I think it's just mostly about the journey
02:19 of growing up and the friendships that we still hold on to.
02:23 - As a recent musical theatre graduate,
02:26 Olivia is very new to the industry.
02:29 Let's find out about what it's like to be a young woman
02:32 in the performing arts industry.
02:35 - We're moving in the right direction completely
02:38 and we're pushing for those changes.
02:41 And I think that that only comes from strong women
02:44 and their belief in their voices.
02:47 And we're really lucky because there are so many good people
02:50 for all the bad, there's so many good people.
02:52 And those support systems are so important.
02:56 So to have those, we're making the changes
03:00 that we wouldn't have seen 10 years ago.
03:02 And that's really exciting.
