01:16 Two suspects are facing charges after surrendering to PNP. The mayor had also
01:23 been issued a show-cause order since the suspects were his men. Garcia respects
01:28 the report from law enforcement but he says the Comelec has the final say.
01:34 The PNP confirms there are four incidents of election-related violence. Two in
01:39 Bangsamoro region, one in Calabarzon and one in the Bicol region. Police are
01:44 still validating if other reported incidents can be classified as
01:48 election-related. Authorities are still looking into 27 areas that may be
01:53 identified as areas of concern under the red category. Most of these are in Mindanao.
01:59 We are looking into day-to-day updates. Until then, we can finalize if
02:07 this 27 will remain as 27 or it will be reduced or it will be more than 27.
02:22 Parameters include previous incidents of election violence, presence of terrorists
02:27 and other armed groups, and occurrence of politically motivated incidents.
02:33 The Comelec earlier said Negros Oriental and more places in the Bangsamoro region may
02:38 be included in the list of areas of concern. The poll body aims to have the
02:42 final list by end of September to prepare for the October 30 polls.
