00:05 I'm a tall man, you know, I've always been a tall man.

00:08 I love it. I mean, I'm a short girl.

00:16 It's very Rick Owens. Is it?

00:20 Yes. You know, the mastermind himself.

00:23 And always a pleasure to wear a piece of his his arts.

00:27 But tonight's a big night for us. We're celebrating.

00:30 Our album comes out in three days, so it's a little like our record

00:33 release party here, but nobody knows it.

00:36 Wait, so that's a lot of fun.

00:38 You said your album comes out in three days. Three days.

00:40 Yeah, it's called It's the End of the World, but it's a beautiful day.

00:42 Comes out September 15th.

00:44 So tonight we're really celebrating.

00:46 Yeah. What can we expect on the album?

00:48 Well, it's very different.

00:49 I mean, I think, you know, 30 seconds of Mars, we haven't put an album out in five

00:53 years. People are going to be pretty surprised.

00:56 And we're excited.

00:58 I mean, tonight, congratulations.

01:00 You guys are nominated for Best Alternative.

01:02 What would that win mean to you?

01:04 That win would mean a lot.

01:06 I mean, it's always look, the thing about winning awards is like

01:09 it doesn't matter to get a trophy.

01:11 It's just an opportunity to stand on the stage

01:14 and thank people that have been important to you.

01:17 That's the best part.

01:19 And it's also great to see other people win.

01:21 So if you lose big deal, you know.

01:24 And 17 years ago at this time,

01:27 you guys won your first MTV2 award and now you're here.

01:32 What are some things that you've learned in your 17 year journey as a musician?

01:36 I think I've learned to be flexible, to remember, to be kind

01:41 and to be open to change.
