00:55 You are working on an album, Angel Face.

00:58 Angel Face.

00:59 Comes out September 22nd.

01:01 It's a Libra.

01:02 It's a Libra album.

01:03 What can we expect on it?

01:05 I mean, it's got this '50s and '60s flavor.

01:07 It's set from the years 1958 through 1964

01:09 and it's highlighting the career of the Troubadour Sanchez,

01:11 this fictional, famous crooner back in the day

01:14 who falls in love with this character named Evangeline

01:17 who is dating a mobster club owner named Hunter back in the '60s

01:23 who inevitably kills the Troubadour Sanchez

01:26 because he finds out about the secret love between Evangeline and them.

01:30 This sounds like an awesome, awesome plot.

01:34 Thank you.

01:35 How many tracks are on it?

01:36 There are 13, and it takes you through the whole record.

01:39 The whole story is in tandem with the song's order.

01:43 And then you're going to tour this album.

01:45 Can we expect a big production?

01:48 What am I going to feel when I come on set?

01:50 I mean, it's going to feel like we're going to bring you back to that time.

01:52 We're going to play the characters and the roles,

01:54 Stephen Sanchez and the Mooncrest, the boys in the Mooncrests,

01:57 and I'm going to get shot and die on stage, you know, fictionally.

02:05 So you've had quite a last year, right?

02:08 So you performed at Sophia Rich's wedding.

02:11 You were invited by Sir Elton John to perform at his final glastonery.

02:16 What did that mean to you?

02:19 I mean, gosh, I mean, it meant everything.

02:24 It meant everything.

02:25 I mean, Elton is such a wonderful human being.

02:30 And the fact that he would even consider me to come out for something like that.

02:33 I mean, this whole thing, even being here at the VMA,

02:35 is like I don't feel like a big deal.

02:37 I don't feel like famous or that important or anything.

02:39 I may be dressed like a president or something like that,

02:42 but this is all a tremendous gift to be here,

02:44 and to get to do something like that was a tremendous gift.

02:46 And to have him as a friend and even a mentor

02:49 and somebody that I look up to is a tremendous gift.
