00:00 Hi, I'm Sarah, the owner of Sweet Bella's. We're located on St John's Road in Cwstorfin,
00:07 Edinburgh and we potentially might be the smallest bakery in the whole of the UK. We
00:17 have been here since the beginning of August and things have been going brilliant so far.
00:22 I couldn't have had my bakery in a better location. So the place is very, very small.
00:27 I get asked on a daily, "Are you claustrophobic?" and I say, "At the moment, no, but ask me
00:31 that maybe in a few months." But, you know, I feel like we've optimised the space as much
00:35 as possible. I've even got a little seat. But, yeah, it's very, very small but we've
00:41 got everything. We've got all our packaging and stuff behind us and everything all here.
00:48 We've optimised it as best as we can. Normally in the mornings this desk actually lifts up
00:54 but when I've got stuff during the day, when I've got biscuits and stuff on the desk, I
00:58 actually have to crawl under. It's the only way I can get out of this shop. But apart
01:01 from that, the desk does lift up. What made me want to open my own shop was I did markets.
01:08 I did a few Christmas markets, summer markets and I absolutely loved it. I loved the buzz
01:13 of it all. I've had my eye actually on this place for a wee while and when it opened up,
01:17 I just couldn't believe it. It just felt meant to be. Everyone's so lovely. We've got our
01:21 friends all in the different shops. I just knew I wanted my business here. When this
01:25 popped up, it couldn't be more perfect. I've had so many people say they love the colour
01:29 of the shop as well. One person said it looks like a wee ray of sunshine on the high street.
01:34 Everyone's been really lovely, really supportive. I even have people just passing me saying
01:38 good luck and I really hope that your business goes well. So it's been the best reaction.
01:43 I couldn't ask for anything better.
01:45 Thank you. Thank you.
