Are Snapchat Spectacles Cool or Dumb?

Snapchat is coming out with sunglasses that record video, and people are divided on whether or not they seem cool.

00:13 Spectacles are basically just cool sunglasses that record up to 30 second intervals of video

00:17 so you can snap hands free.

00:18 The camera has a 115 degree lens meant to mimic the way we actually see the world.

00:23 Spectacles will cost $130 and for the time being they're only being made in limited amounts.

00:28 So if you're a digital influencer or you're a celebrity, you're probably going to get

00:33 Snap actually introduced the product with a video on Friday on which they've disabled

00:38 ratings and comments.

00:39 The general consensus online seems that this product is actually interesting.

00:43 Like when Google Glass came out people were like, "What is this?" and now we're starting

00:46 to get used to it.

00:47 But it still brings up the question of privacy.
