00:02 >> Quickly here to the NL, the wild card race, awesome.
00:05 All the Phillies, the Cubs, the Giants, the Diamondbacks, the Reds, and
00:08 the Marlins all in it here.
00:10 And then there's those Padres yesterday who has said, man,
00:12 would it be great if the Padres could win two games in a row?
00:15 Yeah, you knew they couldn't do that and they didn't yesterday.
00:17 Is there now seven and a half games back in the wild card race?
00:20 Let me go to the bottom end of this, the Reds and the Marlins.
00:23 Cuz to me, I look at those teams and
00:25 I would back the Miami Marlins over the Cincinnati Reds.
00:27 And I like the Reds lineup, but I just trust the overall pitching staff of
00:31 the Marlins.
00:31 I think the Marlins could be intriguing if they found their way into the playoffs.
00:35 But again, three wins in the last ten games, you can't do that with the Marlins.
00:39 Do the Marlins or the Reds have a shot here to creep back up here in
00:43 the wild card race?
00:45 >> No, just too inconsistent, Donnie, we have seen it, right?
00:49 I mean, you had Sandy on the mound last night, he was the guy that you needed to.
00:54 And by the way, he did a pretty good job, what, five innings, seven hits,
00:58 just two earned runs.
00:59 He struck out five, didn't walk anybody against the damn good Tampa Bay lineup.
01:03 But then the bullpens came in and things got actually, I'm sorry,
01:08 seven hits, four earned with four Ks for him.
01:11 But it got progressively worse as the bullpens got in there.
01:15 And then of course, I mean, we're not talking about murderers row with Savali,
01:18 Stevenson, Ramirez, and Dirk.
01:20 And they still can only muster two runs at home.
01:24 So this has been the MO at Miami all year long, right?
01:27 The bats go MIA, I mean, hell,
01:29 even Cincinnati away from the great American ballpark.
01:32 They almost got no hit last night from a dude who doesn't blow the ball by anybody,
01:37 Donnie, who can't trust the lineups.
01:39 The other teams ahead of them have proven they have more consistent offense than
01:44 they do.
