00:10 a male foreigner who has been residing and working in Malaysia since April 2022.
00:15 The second case confirmed on July 29 involves a Malaysian man who is a close contact of
00:20 the first case.
00:21 Razi said all close contacts in the first case were identified and monitored by health
00:25 officials, and no one else exhibited monkeypox symptoms.
00:29 He also said the second patient did not have any close contacts.
00:33 He urged healthcare workers to be vigilant when encountering patients with symptoms of
00:37 blisters, especially among high-risk groups.
00:40 The symptoms of monkeypox are fever, fatigue, headache, and eczema-like rash that begins
00:45 on the face and spreads to other parts of the body.
00:49 Patients may also experience body aches, back or joint pain, muscle spasms, and swollen
00:53 lymph nodes.
