00:11 boosters in addition to flu shots and RSV shots."
00:15 Vaccine makers have created new versions of their shots aimed to target the XBB1.5 sub-variant.
00:22 The updated vaccines are currently pending approval from health regulators in the United
00:27 States and Europe.
00:29 On Thursday, Moderna confirmed initial data has shown its new shot is effective against
00:34 the ARIS and Fornax sub-variants.
00:37 And the Biden administration will likely urge all Americans to get a booster to counter

00:44 However, it may not be that easy.
00:47 The Kaiser Family Foundation Director of Survey Methodology, Ashley Kersinger, says, "Public
00:52 health officials, if they want to see a majority of adults get these annual vaccines, they're
00:57 going to have to make the case to the American public that COVID isn't over and it still
