00:00 Is the President's tenure ending?
00:03 Are there any concerns that he may not be able to continue?
00:06 I have asked this question to the President at least twice in the last 5-6 months.
00:13 The first time he told me that until his electoral college is completed,
00:20 he can continue his post.
00:26 At that time, there was only the Punjab Assembly and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
00:30 I asked him again in the recent past, he said that until his electoral college is completed,
00:37 I have asked my legal experts, so until a new President comes, I can continue.
00:43 Now, some people claim that there is a constitutional power behind his claim.
00:53 They claim that the President has been told that when his tenure ends in September,
00:59 he will resign.
01:00 So who will replace him?
01:01 The Chairman of the Senate.
01:03 The term of the Chairman of the Senate is ending in March 2024.
01:09 So I think that there is a situation, as Irfan Qadar said,
01:15 that the President has opposed Article 75.
01:18 When a President opposes a constitution, there is only one way to deal with it,
01:27 that is by impeachment.
01:28 Parliament has to do the impeachment, but the Parliament is not present.
01:31 So you can see many similar cases around us.
01:37 And that is why I think that this is not a complicated issue.
01:42 When he goes to the Supreme Court, if Mr. Bandyal makes a three-, four-, or five-member bench,
01:48 then there will be objections.
01:50 So he should make a full court.
01:55 But before that, I don't know when that will happen,
01:58 the President of Pakistan has accused his staff that he has cheated me.
02:04 There should be an inquiry.
02:06 And that inquiry should be public.
02:09 Earlier we didn't see that the Supreme Court gave an order
02:13 to hold elections in 90 days, and the Election Commission did not hold elections.
02:17 Now what will the Supreme Court do?
02:21 If it says that the President of Pakistan is right and the government of Pakistan is wrong,
02:26 then what will happen?
02:27 How will they implement the order?
02:28 How will they implement it?
02:29 So first of all, the upcoming President, whoever he is,
02:33 he should be considered.
02:35 Either he should be dismissed from his post,
02:37 or he should not declare himself the Supreme Commander of the Army of Pakistan.
02:40 Or if he has to keep this post,
02:42 then there is only one way to protect the sanctity of that post,
02:46 that the President has given a public statement that my staff has betrayed my confidence.
02:51 There should be an inquiry against the staff.
02:53 And the point is that there is no room for discussion.
02:59 If a President of a country needs to tweet from his private account,
03:03 then there is no room for discussion.
03:07 One more objection is that why did he wait for 24 hours, 30 hours?
03:11 Is this the reason why he is taking this stance now?
03:13 Because he has signed it first or he has given his approval first?
03:16 And after that, when there was backlash,
03:19 when the politicians of his political party were caught,
03:21 then it was found that this is a mistake.
03:24 That is why he had to come publicly and get a separation from it.
03:27 We cannot imagine what is happening in the background,
03:31 but the facts that are in front of us are his tweets.
03:34 And through that, legal complications have arisen.
03:36 Through that, a legal crisis has arisen.
03:39 And a joke of Pakistan has also been created in the whole world.
03:43 The word 'Banana Republic' was used.
03:46 I was seeing on Twitter, on social media,
03:49 that people were giving various names for Pakistan.
03:51 Someone was calling it 'Mango Republic', someone was saying something else.
03:54 So we are standing on the same line that
03:57 if there was a glimmer of this country,
04:01 then we will destroy it.
04:04 And all the stakeholders, including the establishment,
04:07 that no one is sitting with each other and trying to solve this issue.
04:11 This crisis has become very prolonged.
04:13 And frankly, this crisis has started with the Don Leak.
04:16 And till today, we have wasted 10 years in Pakistan in this political instability.
04:20 We are not able to recover from it.
04:21 We are not able to recover from it and we are adding new dimensions to it.
04:25 So my point is that we have gone through a 10 year crisis cycle.
04:33 We have also increased its severity.
04:36 So if we are not able to get out of it, then we are already in a state of anarchy.
04:41 Spiraling downward, as they say.
04:43 And no one is aware of it. This is a fact.
04:46 And no one should be in control of the situation.
04:48 This is a very dangerous thing.
