00:00 The record company messed it all up, it was supposed to go "Hunger Games, ya ya ya, ya
00:04 ya ya, Hunger Games!"
00:06 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the top 10 South Park songs
00:11 that mocked celebrities.
00:18 For this list, we'll be looking at the best musical tracks from the show's history that
00:22 lampooned famous singers and other performers.

00:43 Number 10.
00:44 "Love You, Baby" - The Jonas Brothers
00:49 When season 13 opened, South Park took full aim at Disney and their beloved mouse mascot.
00:54 We're treated to a Jonas Brothers performance, which features over-the-top songs such as
01:00 "Love You, Baby," the entire concert, and much of the episode itself mocks Disney's
01:10 use of the boy band to sell suggestive material to young girls, all while claiming to be pure
01:15 and innocent.
01:23 In the brothers, use of purity rings is mocked in a montage of Kenny and his girlfriend portrayed
01:28 as boring adults over the song "I've Got A Ring On My Finger."
01:37 We laugh every time we watch this episode, but curse it as well given how catchy even
01:42 the parodied songs are.
01:45 Number 9.
01:46 "Dog's Crew" Theme Song - Dog the Bounty Hunter
01:57 If there's one common thread among reality television shows, it's how producers manage
02:02 to find the most unique and captivating individuals out there.
02:06 Dwayne "Dog" Chapman helped birth the Dog the Bounty Hunter TV show and all of its subsequent
02:11 spin-offs.
02:12 So, when Cartman becomes the new school hall monitor, he takes on the persona of Chapman,
02:17 and we're treated to a fantastic mockery of Dog's show intro.
02:27 The genius of this parody is how close both the music and lyrics are to the original.
02:39 Throw in Cartman's fake car and beard combined with references to his new duties, and it's
02:44 a recipe for the perfect caricature.
02:47 Number 8.
02:48 "Trapped in the Closet" - R. Kelly Known as perhaps the most infamous and notable
02:53 episodes of the show, discussions about "Trapped in the Closet" often center around the Tom
02:57 Cruise and Scientology controversy.
03:00 But several other notable individuals are part of the episode, including R&B artist
03:05 R. Kelly.
03:10 In the show, Kelly is interviewed by the press and proceeds to sing all of his answers.
03:15 He too ends up in Stan's closet with Cruise, where both of them sing words about their
03:19 refusal to leave.
03:29 It's a far less known tune than some of our others, which is, in a way, what makes it
03:34 stand out more.
03:35 Plus, it perfectly mocks Kelly's real-world allegations and behavior.
03:43 Number 7.
03:44 "Ballad of Paris Hilton" - Paris Hilton Unlike the other entries on this list, this
03:53 song plays over the credits of an episode.
03:56 Paris Hilton is ruthlessly ridiculed throughout the entire 22 minutes.
04:00 By the end, she's, well, let's just say trapped in a tight squeeze with no way out.
04:05 It's here she meets the Frog King, who then serenades her as the episode ends.
04:14 The song itself originated back in season 6, where the class gerbil Lemmy Winks was
04:19 stuck in a similar cavity.
04:21 Closing the episode out with this song for Hilton is the icing on the cake of a perfect
04:25 throwdown of Hilton.
04:32 Number 6.
04:33 "The Only Meming I'll Ever Do" - Faith Hill/Meming In General
04:39 In season 16, the boys are going to extreme lengths to snap photos while Faith Hilling,
04:44 a t-shirt meme similar to planking and owling.
04:53 The entire episode pokes fun at all of meme culture, but the ending mostly mocks country
04:58 singer Faith Hill.
04:59 From 2007 to 2012, Hill performed a modified version of the Joan Jett song "I Hate Myself
05:06 For Loving You" as the intro to Sunday's game.
05:16 In South Park, Cartman does the ultimate version of this new meme at the Republican National
05:21 Convention by singing a variation of Hill's song all while performing the meme.
05:32 Not only does it poke fun at the ridiculousness of memes, but it also mocks how over the top
05:37 the NFL broadcast has gone just to retain its viewers.
05:41 Number 5.
05:42 "A Ladder To Heaven" - Alan Jackson After having won a massive candy prize, the
05:48 boys build a ladder to heaven to get a ticket from Kenny, who at this point in the show
05:53 was actually dead, to claim their winnings.
06:04 Of course, none of the adults know about the candy, so they see the boys' efforts as
06:08 merely a way of dealing with the loss of their friend.
06:11 This draws national attention, including that of country singer Alan Jackson, who writes
06:16 a song about the ladder.
06:22 The show accuses Jackson of monetizing a tragedy, referring to a similarly themed song about
06:27 the 9/11 attacks.
06:36 Clearly grief can be expressed in many ways, but maybe the timing of such things should
06:41 be considered.
06:42 Number 4.
06:43 "Gay Fish" - Kanye West Kanye West, aka "Ye," is heavily featured
06:51 in the season 13 gem.
06:53 Cartman and Jimmy come up with a silly joke about breaded fish and being gay.
07:04 The joke spreads like wildfire and soon enough everyone around the world has had a chuckle
07:09 at the joke.
07:10 That is except West, who for the life of him cannot understand why people keep calling
07:14 him a gay fish.
07:16 The episode heavily mocks West's eccentricities until he finally confesses to, in fact, being
07:22 a gay fish.
07:23 The end of the episode features a song about being a gay fish, which is a clear parody
07:28 of West's "Heartless" track.
07:39 The song perfectly reinforces the entire satirical look at Ye's personality.
07:52 Number 3.
07:53 "Boo Boo Booty-O" - Phil Collins Longtime South Park fans will remember how
07:58 creator Trey Parker was nominated for an Academy Award for the song "Blame Canada" from
08:02 South Park, Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.
08:12 Parker lost out to Phil Collins, who won for "You'll Be In My Hearts."
08:16 In retaliation for his loss, Parker relentlessly mocked Collins in a season 4 episode called
08:21 "Timmy 2000."
08:29 Parodies shown clenching his Oscar were treated to parody filled versions of "Susudio"
08:33 in the aforementioned Oscar winning tune.
08:40 Both parodies skewer Collins' songs beyond anything viewers had seen on the show so far.
08:52 Number 2.
08:53 "Taco Flavored Kisses" - Jennifer Lopez Only in the world of South Park could a hand
09:06 puppet of Jennifer Lopez last an entire episode.
09:13 While participating in a school discussion on Latino culture, Cartman's presentation
09:17 consists of him spouting racial stereotypes all as a hand-talking version of the famous
09:22 singer-actress.
09:24 This eventually leads us to the mall where Eric films a full-on music video of her.
09:33 As she spouts off the lyrics to "Taco Flavored Kisses," we're both repulsed and amused
09:38 by how awful it is.
09:40 The song itself isn't very complex, but it becomes the genesis for an episode that
09:44 mocks high-profile singers and their status.

10:07 Number 1.
10:08 "I Am Lorde, Yeah Yeah Yeah" - Lorde As this list has proved, often artists parodied
10:14 on South Park are torn to shreds.
10:17 But when the singer being mocked openly recites the parodied bit from the show, you know they
10:21 have one hell of a sense of humor.
10:26 Within the canon of the show, Randy Marsh is actually Lorde, and continually spews out
10:31 lyrics like "I am Lorde, yeah yeah yeah."
10:39 The entire idea that a middle-aged man is in fact this massive pop star is hilarious.
10:44 Given how much affinity the real Lorde has for Randy, it makes us wonder if she'd record
10:49 her own version of "Push, Feeling Good" on a Wednesday.
