00:00 What are the chances in Selangor and how many seats are you confident of winning?
00:06 We have 56 seats in Selangor and 39 out of 56 are Malay majority seats, more than 65% for each particular seat.
00:20 We are confident of winning between 33 to 35 seats, not only Malay seats, we are working very hard to make significant inroads in some of the Chinese majority seats.
00:34 The support on the ground is quite encouraging and I am hoping and optimistic that we can get some of these seats in this state election.
00:52 Can you talk about the swing in the non-Malay group that you are attacking?
00:59 Based on our polls that we conducted for the last two months, we are witnessing slight progress in terms of the support from the Chinese voters.
01:13 Very positive, but we need to work very hard to share with them our policies moving forward, how do we want to manage and develop Selangor.
01:28 As you know, the Chinese are very concerned about the political stability and also the opportunities to do business.
01:40 We are providing those solutions for them to accelerate the economic recovery and to advance their opportunities in this area.
01:53 But we are witnessing significant progress among the Indian voters in Selangor.
02:01 Based on the participation in our rallies for the last few weeks, I can safely mention here that we are very happy with the support of the Indians.
02:15 We want to make sure that PN will provide better opportunities, economic development, access to quality education to the Indian community,
02:27 so that they can be part of the mainstream of the state development in Selangor.
