Petronas job cuts mainly affect contract workers, says Anwar

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim briefly addressed Petronas' announcement that it will be cutting about 10% of its workforce.

"It mostly involves contract (positions)," the Prime Minister stated succinctly on Friday (June 6) when pressed for his response on the national oil and gas company's plan to reduce headcount by more than 5,000 people.
