After attending a ceremony to hand over letters to members of the Madani Communities in Selangor on Sunday, Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil told reporters that the government’s standing order for civil servants to not involve directly in election campaigns has remained until today.
He said the staff at the Information Department, for example, should merely focus on disseminating information on issues such as inflation to the public instead of taking part in politics or election machinery.
