A RM50,000 reward is available for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the recent animal killings on Penang Hill.

The International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals has increased the reward to encourage justice.

00:16reward on Saturday for those with direct, verifiable information on the abuse or killing of stray
00:23animals or wildlife within the Penang Island City Council area.
00:28On July 6, several animals were found dead, believed to have been poisoned.
00:33The victims included seven dogs, two cats and five birds discovered at various locations
00:38across the area.
00:40The reward also covers cases of animal abuse that occurred in the past in the area.
