00:00 Hello, I'm Angela Ratcliffe. Twelve months ago I found a lump in my left breast and was
00:04 diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, which is a really aggressive form of breast
00:10 cancer. I started chemotherapy last October and while undergoing chemotherapy when I lost
00:16 my hair my children got really upset. So at home we started wearing silly wigs to make
00:21 it easier for them. That started my school run wig fundraising that the kids and the
00:28 parents seemed to really enjoy at school and then now it's turned into our first ever 5K
00:36 wig walk at Hair Hall and it's come at a lovely time because a couple of weeks ago I found
00:42 out that I'm cancer free after the chemotherapy, mastectomy and radiotherapy last year. Our
00:47 fundraising today and throughout all of my treatment has been for breast cancer now,
00:53 so we're funding research into the different forms of breast cancer and how to treat it.
