Deaths to be reported in real time in major reform

Indigenous and non-indigenous deaths in custody will be reported in real-time from today as part of a Federal Government attempt to address the number of people dying behind bars. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are among the most incarcerated groups in the world, with high levels of deaths in custody.
