Five men have been arrested on suspicion of a terrorism offence. All five were transported to the West Midlands, interviewed and subsequently bailed as further police enquiries continue. West Midlands Police said there is no immediate threat to the safety of the public.

A County Lines drug dealer from Birmingham has been jailed for operating a line supplying heroin and crack cocaine to users in Stourbridge. 35 year old Ibrar Hussain pleaded guilty to the charges at Birmingham Crown Court and was sentenced to four-and-a-half years.

Alison Hammond received a top honour at the Burberry British Diversity Awards in London on Wednesday night. The This Morning host from Birmingham was recognised for highlighting racism, inequality and injustice on major broadcasting and social media platform.
