Police confirmed that they were called to Skelton Skips on Knowsthorpe Way after the discovery was made yesterday morning (Monday).
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “At 9.57am [on Monday], police received a report of human remains having been found at a waste recycling firm, in Knowsthorpe Way, Leeds.
