Rising populations and development in Sydney's west threatens food bowl

Sydney's west has been considered a key source of vegetables, and poultry for the city, for a long time. But the land is under pressure, from rapid population growth and development in the region. Some researchers say up to 65% of agricultural land could have been lost in western Sydney in the past decade.
