Hurricane Ian’s death toll up to 58 as questions arise on evacuation process

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said on Sunday that 58 people died from Hurricane Ian with the majority of deaths occurring in hard-hit Lee County. Officials say 42 of the deaths were in Lee County. As officials continue their search, it is likely the death toll will rise.
