Villages By The Sea in Flamborough.

Flamborough sits in a unique position surrounded by sea on three sides and man-made Danes Dyke on the other. It is this unique geography that has not only shaped the history of the village but also its people, according to archaeologist Ben Robinson.

Robinson is also the presenter of the BBC series Villages by the Sea, which looks at how villages have changed over the centuries due to their coastal location and the very ground they are built on. It returns to our screens this week, with series three.
