00:00The fishing was always the first thing you know and then a little bit of

00:03tourism in the afternoon and now it's the total opposite. Tourism's one main

00:08business and we maybe do a little bit of fishing on top of that.

00:11So from fairly small scale to now where you've got dozens and dozens of people

00:17all coming out to enjoy the views, enjoy the history, enjoy the wildlife.

00:21That's right. That original boat, that small cobble or a Yorkshire term is a cobble,

00:26small boat, only carried 12 people and then the boat that I stand on here today

00:31she's over a hundred seats. So all year round there's something different to see?

00:36All year round. With the water being so clear you could see the life in the

00:39water. This time of year it's great because the waters are rich, they're at the

00:42warmest now, end of the summer. It'll be coming up for the popping season very

00:45shortly in the autumn. The springtime is best for the seabirds and that's all

00:50been by the conservation of the you know the effort put into the islands and

00:54those numbers have built up over the years. So it's been a success story.

01:13And that's about the health of the water, that's about the ecosystem and the seals.

01:18There are little kids on here absolutely thrilled by what they're seeing, getting

01:22really close up to these interesting animals. One of the largest colonies of

01:27grey seals here at the Foreign Islands in the UK.

01:34I never forgot coming here as a primary school kid. It sort of draws me back.

01:39These kids up here, they will never ever forget this experience. Memories, making

01:44memories. That's what you do then. Exactly, exactly.
