Government to Extend Domestic Gas Security Mechanism to 2030

The Federal Resources Minister Madeleine King says the government is willing to intervene in the east coast gas market next year, unless supply is assured. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is forecasting the biggest gas supply shortage since 2017 on the east coast.
