Escalator linked to a pedestrian bridge to cross Jalan Ampang caught fire

An escalator which is part of a pedestrian bridge used by the public to cross Jalan Ampang caught fire on Monday. The KL City Fire and Rescue Department said the incident occurred at around 5.16am.
