Tech Blogger Tweaks Twitter

With news breaking that Jack Dorsey plans to step down as the CEO of Twitter ($TWTR@US), technology blogger Jane Wong has tweaked the platform in ways that most thought were not possible. She was able to tweak the tipping feature to get tips in Bitcoin form or fiat from additional payment platforms. She added her Ethereum address to her tips button, even though the feature doesn’t currently allow cryptocurrency. Once she got it to work, she took to Twitter to suggest that other users give it a try. This is especially interesting news as Jack Dorsey is a Bitcoin enthusiast who has railed against Ethereum in the past. It appears that the tide could be changing. At press time, Ethereum was up 5.97%, at $4623.86. Meanwhile, Twitter stock was down 2.75% at $45.78.
