Expert wants booster shots amid studies on vaccines' waning efficacy

Seven months into the country's COVID-19 vaccination drive, 22 million or over 20 percent of the population have been fully inoculated, while 25 million are waiting for their second dose.

Some experts now raise the need for booster shots as studies on waning efficacy surface including Pfizer's vaccine, which makes up 19 percent of the country's supply.
