The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on September 9 said that India is still witnessing a second surge of Covid-19. “43,263 reported in last 24 hours, over 32,000 from Kerala. Almost 68% of the total cases in last week are from Kerala. The overall declining trend is a little less than 50% which was there in the first wave. We're still witnessing 2nd surge, it's not over,” said MoHFW Secretary Rajesh Bhushan.
