As many as 25 people were injured at a vaccination centre at Dhupguri, Jalpaiguri after overcrowding led to a stampede on August 31. The incident took place when hundreds of people had gathered for vaccination and rushed inside as soon as the gates opened. The injured were admitted to a district hospital.
